Mission Statement
The Southern California Balloon Association is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the sport of hot air ballooning and other lighter than air craft. Membership is comprised of commercial and private pilots, their crews, family, and others interested in ballooning. The SCBA organizes informal competitive and recreational events. The club promotes safety and education in our sport and sponsors safety and educational seminars. Meetings and events are held monthly.

If you are interested in ballooning we suggest that you attend one of our scheduled events and join the fun. Volunteer crew are always welcome. You might even get a balloon ride.

If you are seriously interested in getting involved with SCBA activities or need to contact the organization please call the SCBA President at (661) 943-7616. The SCBA is a non-profit organization. If you are interested in balloon rides, please refer to your local yellow pages.
